VOORHIES, Herbert and WEBSTER, Maud (m. 1907)

Popular Young People United — A marriage that was quite a surprise to the friends of the contracting parties, was that of Mr. Herbert VOORHIES and Miss Maud WEBSTER last Thursday morning.  The couple who have figured prominently in the social affairs of the younger set are very popular on account of their many accomplishments.  For the first four days, after the nuptial knot had been tied, the newly wedded pair were domiciled at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. DeWEES where a host of their friends called to extend their congratulations and best wishes.  They are now living with the father and mother of Mr. VOORHIES.
