Mt. Pleasant, Miss., Dec. 30 – Mrs. Susie J. PURYEAR, wife of P.B. PURYEAR, died at her home near this place of pneumonia on the morning of the 26th at 8:20 o’clock after an illness of six days. She was the daughter of the late William M. and Susan D. JOHNSON and sister of Judge M.B. JOHNSON of White county, Arkansas, and R.J. and George H. JOHNSON of this place. She was a devoted Christian woman.
