HOOKS, Rufus – SMITH, Ruby (m. 1930)
Miss Ruby SMITH and Mr. Rufus HOOKS were married last Friday afternoon at Corinth, Miss. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy SMITH, of Plainview, and is a very attractive young lady. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph HOOKS and is a young man of sterling qualities. The happy couple will make their home in Chicago, where the groom holds a position. They have many friends throughout Chester County who wish them much happiness. (pg. 5)
