Jackson Daily Democrat Ceases (1871)

The Jackson Daily Democrat ceased publication on Sunday last.  Col. HOGAN retires from the chair editorial on account of sickness in his father’s family.  Col. HOGAN has won an enviable reputation in the newspaper world as an able and graceful writer, and his place will be difficult to fill.  We are promised a resumption of the Daily in the October next.
