Wm HUMBERD vs David KERR and others

It appears from complainants bill, which is sworn to, that John H. JOHN and Jathan GREGORY, two of the defendants to said suit, are non-residents of the State of Tennessee:

It is, therefore, ordered that publication be made, for four weeks, in the Cleveland Banner, a newspaper published in the town of Cleveland, Bradley county, Tennessee, notifying said non-resident defendants to appear at Chancery court to be held at the court house in Cleveland, Tennessee, on the 4th Monday of August next, and make defense to said bill or the same will be taken as confessed as to them and set for hearing ex parte.
