SOLOMON, Harriett – (d. 1852)

Mrs. Harriett SOLOMON, wife of Mr. Wm. C. SOLOMON, died at home; June 24th, 1852, of Typhoid Fever.  The age of the deceased was thirty years, three months, thirteen days.  She had been married but one month.

When about eighteen years old, she made a profession of religion, and connected herself with the Third Creek Presbyterian Church, North Carolina. She moved to Lincoln county, Tenn., with her mother, Mrs. HARRIS, in the fall of 1846.

She was not apprehensive of danger, having recovered from two or three very severe spells of sickness in her life, until a short time previous to her death.  The mention of her dangerous situation, did not alarm her.  Death was a subject of which she had thought, and for which she had, by divine help, made preparation.  Her last hours were happy ones; not only calm and peaceful, but triumphant and victorious. — June 28, 1852
