CROSS Sr., E.M. – (d. 1968)
E. M. CROSS SR. Piney Flats – Eugene M. CROSS Sr., 79 of Route 1, Piney Flats, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday in Bristol Memorial Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Sullivan County and a member of the Enterprise Methodist Church. He was a retired employee of the Mead Corporation. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mayme Mottern CROSS; three sons, J. Harold CROSS of St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert CROSS of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Eugene M. CROSS Jr. of Boone, N.C.; two brothers, H. D. CROSS of Kingsport, T. M. CROSS of Blountville; three sisters, Mrs. James H. BROWN of Bluff City, Mrs. Sally NEAL of Blountville, and Mrs. Carson WILLIAMS of Williams Mill, Va.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
