Man Loses Leg to Train (1866)

On last Tuesday, as the last Mississippi Central train was leaving Madison County, a young gentleman, Art ANDERSON, attempted to get off and fell to the ground in such a way as to allow the wheels of the cars to cut off his legs from his body. Mr. ANDERSON is at Medon where attention is being paid to him.
