Also has come into my hands a shiping rect on Danl. Cherry for six thousand and seventy five pounds seed cotton, which was contracted and reduced to writing by the deceased in his life time as pr his written agreement with said Danl. Cherry bearing date 31st Oct. 1839.
All of the above property sold on a credit untill the 25th Dec. next (1840) and notes with security taken, except two or three acres.
The following notes have come into my hands as administrator, to wit:
One note on Ozzy Todd & John McFarland due the 20th of April 1837 for the sum of two hundred dollars subject to a credit of ten dollars & 55 cents, paid 21st March 1839.
One note of hand on William Edwards due 31st July 1838 for sixteen dollars, subject to a credit of ten dollars paid 17th July 1839.
One note on James Fewell for sixteen dollars due the 25th Dec 1838.
An open account on Thomas Boling for one dollar and fifty cents dated 9th Oct. 1839 doubtful
An open acct on Moore S. Moss for eight dollars dated March 1839.
An open a/c on Richard Cates for seven dollars & fifty cents, dated February 1839
An open a/c on Charles R. Johnson for three dollars and fifty cents dated 17th Oct. 1839.
An open a/c on Jno Williams for six dollar and thirty seven cents dated 27th Sept 1839 The following claims are on persons considered doubtful and some insolvent:
One note on Thomas Boling SR. for sixteen dollars due 25th Dec 1837. Subject to a credit of seven dollars dated 14th Mar 1839, and four dollars for error dated Apr 22nd 1837.
One note on James R. & Ruffin G. Permenter for fifteen dollars & 31 cents, due the 25th Dec 1838 insolvent
An open acct on Daniel Boling for one dollar & fifty cents dated March 1839 insolven
An open a/c on Wyatt P. Tweedy for eight dollars insolvent
DO [ditto] DO on Ephraim Mitchell for two dollars dated Apl 1838.
An open account on Levi May for six dollars.
Also came into my hands five dollars in silver and ten dollars on the Bank of Alabama and in change tickets (shin plasters) twelve dollars 31 cents.
On the Vicksburg and Commercial rail road Bank of Miss thirty dollars
