Estes Family Cemetery

     The Estes Family Cemetery is located about 1/4 mile south of Fulton Road (SR 87) on Estes Lane in Haywood County, TN.  It is

about 0.2 mile east of the Lauderdale County line.  To reach the cemetery from Brownsville TN travel west out of town on Hwy 54 to

Hwy 19 West, then to Hwy 87.  Turn left on Hwy 87 and travel 10.5 miles to Estes Lane.  The cemetery is surrounded by a concrete fence, four feet

high and one foot thick, sits on a small rise and is hidden by a clump of cedar trees and brush.

Born in Va. Nov. 14, 1806 and Died in Brownsville, Tenn.  Oct. 16, 1871


MARY Q. ESTES, wife of P. Estes, Born November 13, 1820, Died April 16, 1859


MARY FRANCES daughter of MOREAU P. & MARY Q. ESTES DIED March 16,1854 Aged 14 years 9 months and16 days


EDWARD CAREY ESTES DIED July 10, 1848, aged 10 months


SARAH BELL ESTES DIED May 25, 1852, Aged 2 months and 23 days


MARY FRANCIS, daughter of B. and Mattie C. Folk      died June 24, 1859 aged 10 months and 18 days.


BENJAMIN MOREAU, son of B and M.C. Folk, Born November 1, 1861, and died October 20, 1862
