TOULON NEWS —
Mrs. J. A. DILL and Miss Omie SMITH have been quite sick.
Mr. W. G. SMITH and wife of Halls, visited his mother, Mrs. G. D. SMITH.
WILSON SCHOOL NEWS — Mrs. W. T. PERKINS and her sister, Miss Sallie ESTES spent Thursday at the home of their sister, Mrs. Pat H. MANN, in Brownsville.
NEWS OF THE WORLD — H. W. JOINER, formerly one of the largest merchants in Memphis, Tennessee, was arrested for violating the sanitary laws by eating from a garbage can.
LOCAL NEWS — Paul COOK, of the Second District, died Monday, aged 14 years. His remains were buried Tuesday.
SOCIAL AND PERSONAL —
The BROWN-GATES nuptials were celebrated last Wednesday evening at the first Methodist church, Revs. W. W. ADAMS and G. H. MARTIN performing the ceremony.
J. C. CARLTON has returned from a trip to Texas and the Indian Territory.
Mrs. J. C. SANDERS, of Lebanon, Tenn., is visiting her mother, Mrs. B. J. LEA.
