LAUDERDALE COUNTY NEWS; RIPLEY NEWS — All of Ripley was shocked and pained by the news of the sudden death of Hon. Atwood PIERSON, which event occured at his home, near Dry Hill, seven miles north of this place, Monday about 3 p. m.
WILSON SCHOOLHOUSE — A baby girl was born to Mr. & Mrs. W. BRUMMETT on February 27th.
LOCAL NEWS — The announcement of the death of Mrs. Jennie POSTON, beloved wife of Hon. W. F. POSTON, at Alamo last week, caused sincere sorrow in this community. She was the daughter of Mr. P. G. DUFFER, deceased. Her funeral was preached at the Methodist Episcopal church in Alamo Saturday, Saturday, March 7th, 1903, by Rev. Joe CARTER.
