CAROLINA — We regret to learn of the illness of Mr. Frank BINFORD.
CATALPA —
Death has visited our community and taken from our midst another ex-Confederate soldier. Thus, one by one, they are passing away. R. N. WILLIAMS, comrad, friend and neighbor, who was born January 26, 1835, died November 22, 1904 at 8:30 p. m. He was a member of Company F, 31st Tennessee Regiment; made a true and faithful soldier; was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and lived a true and faithful Christian till death. He had been partially paralyzed for several years and almost as helpless as a child. The family have our sincere sympathy. His brother, Marvin, deserves credit for his kind attention.
R. T. CHAMBERS and son, Joe B., of Dyer, Tenn., are visiting relatives and friends here.
We are sorry to learn that our life long friend, J. R. FLETCHER of Creevy has sold out and will move to Jackson.
