LOCAL NEWS — The two-year-old child, Bernice of Mr. & Mrs. Ben EDMONDS died on Saturday night. The remains were carried to Milan and interred there Sunday. She was sick only four days, the disease being flux.
SOCIAL AND PERSONAL —
MR. A. B. COX and MISS IRENE COX were married last Sunday morning at the residence of Mr. L. A. CORBILL, a short distance from Brownsville.
Mr. & Mrs. B. A. POWELL announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, ALICE POWELL to Mr. WM. B. TAYLOR. The ceremony will be said Thursday afternoon, June 16th at their home in Hillville, Tenn. The couple will reside in Charlotte, N. C.
MISS LULA EVANS and MR. J. A. MURRAY were married Wednesday June 1st at the Presbyterian parsonage at Greensboro, N. C., Rev. SEYBROOK officiating. She is the daughter of Mr. J. G. EVANS of Ged.
