At a stated meeting of Bradshaw’s Lodge, No. 256, Free and accepted Mason’s Lodge Room, Jan. 4th, A.L. 5866 and A.D. 1866, the following proceedings were had:

WHEREAS, It has pleased Almighty God to remove from our midst our worthy and highly esteemed Bro. William YOUNG, to his reward above, and

WHEREAS, By this Dispensation of Divine Providence, Masonry in general has lost one of its warmest advocates; this Lodge one of its most efficient members; his family a kind and affectionate husband and doating [sic] father; the church one of her most valuable and consistent members; the community one of its most useful and respected citizens, therefore,

Resolved, 1st; That while we bow in humble submission to his dispensation, we deeply mourn our loss, nevertheless; we sorrow not as those who have no hope, confident that our loss is his eternal gain.

Resolved, 2d: That we tender to his bereaved and much afflicted family our condolence and sympathy, and that we wear the usual badge of mourning thirty days.

Resolved, 3d: That these proceedings be published in the Pulaski Citizen, at Pulaski, and a copy furnished the family of the deceased.
