Ordered that Samuel Ramsey be appointed overseer of the road in the room of John Ellis resigned and that he have the direction of the following hands to work on the same to wit, Robert Alsup, Isaac Bridgewater, John Kenneday, George Garrett, Robert Glascow, William Turner, Jesse Hackney, William Kenneday, and William M. Clanahan.
Ordered Samuel McKnight be appointed overseer of the road in the room of John McKnight required and that he have the same district of hands and that he work from the gap in the ridge near Pleasant News to the top of the ridge toward Indian Creek.
Ordered that Stephen Samuel B. appointed overseer of the Montgomery gap road in the room of Neil Patterson resigned and that he have the same district of hands.
Ordered that Henry F. Steel be appointed overseer of the Montgomery Gap road in the room of William Pullen resigned and that he have the same district of hands.
Ordered that Samuel Porteet be appointed overseer for the gap in the room of Samuel Griswell resigned.

This day came the parties by their attornies and thereupon came the parties by their attornies and thereupon came a jury of good and lawful men to wit Marcus Mitchel, Samuel U. Anderson, John Barnett, William Phillips, William Bottoms, David Crook, John Perry, Early Benson, John McDonald, Edward M. Brown, Peter Satterfield, and Henry Roberts who being elected tried and sworn the truth to speak upon the issue joined upon their oaths do say that the defendant hath not paid the debt in the declaration mentioned and they do assess the plaintiff damages by reason of the detention thereof to thirty seven dollars and thirty one cents besides costs. It is therefore considered by the Court that the plaintiff recover of the defendant the sum of two hundred and thirty two dollars the debt aforesaid together with his damages aforesaid together with his damages aforesaid by the jurors aforesaid assessed.
At least five Justices being present John S. Baile produced in Court a wolf scalp over four months old which is ordered to be burnt.
