The subject of the above sketch was born and reared in Gibson county.  He attended public schools passing through all the divisions of High Schools.  Mr. TERRELL attended the U. of T. one term.  Along with his teaching, he attended the Southern Normal University, graduating with the B.S. degree.  He has  taught a number of years in Gibson county, in Carroll county, Lauderdale, and also in Kentucky, having taght through all the grades, elementary and high school, and extra work. 

Mr. TERRELL has been in the Dyer High School for the seventh term which is now closing.  He has taught several terms at most places at which he has been employed.  He bids fair to teach many more boys and girls to build securely in their early life.
