OBITUARY

The late Wylie Leroy Logan was called home to his reward at the Veterans Hospital, Memphis, TN, Monday, January 6,1992. Wylie was born to the late Betty Todd and Andrew Logan. He was born May21, 1913 in Dayton, TN. He attended schools in Rhea and Hamilton Counties. He served in the armed services during World War II.

He professed Christ as his Savior at an early age. He joined St. Mary AME Church in 1946. He has served on the Steward Board, Trustee Board and member of the Sunday School. He was married to the late Elizabeth Willhouse, to this union a child was born, Mrs. Doris Ann (James) Tillman, Detroit, Michigan. He was joined in holy matrimony with Maggie Lowery in 1945. To this union five children were born, two precedes him in death.

Those who are left to continue this earthly journey are: His wife Maggie Logan, Saltillo, TN, two daughters: Wylena Tole and Beverly Logan of Saltillo, TN; a son, Vincent Logan of Nashville, TN, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nephews, two nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
