ELIZABETH CAROLINE RUSHING DEES AND EDMUND G. DEES

Edmund G. Dees was born Feb. 9, 1824 in North Carolina, and died Jan. 16, 1904. He married Elizabeth C. Rushing. She was the daughter of Asa Rushing and Nancy Hendricks. She was born Feb. 18, 1828 in Perry Co., Tennessee, and died Mar. 17, 1911.

This family came from Texas and settled in Arkansas just before 1870. They had previously lived in Tennessee where most of their children were born. In Arkansas, they lived in the Marrs township, then the Weddington area. [Washington Co.]
