Mr. Jonathan Kennon Thompson Smith of Jackson has published seven
genealogical miscellanies for Henderson County. He wishes to share this
information as widely as possible and has granted permission for these web

Situated on a knoll about .2 mile north of Rock Springs Road, reached by a
field road; located 1.7 miles west of Parker's Cross Roads in northern
Henderson County over the Rock Springs Road. It is enclosed within a metal
fence; an old road formerly ran by the burial ground.

Died in Henderson Co.,Tenn. April 10,1847
Aged 66 yr's.4 mo's.

in one row just east of the wrought iron fence in which their mother and the
Lawses are buried. The bases of all three tombstones are intact.

Note:
AMANDA JANE PEARSON, wife of JAMES N. PEARSON, 1848-1929, buried in Oklahoma
City, Okla. in the Rose Hill Mausoleum. A space was left for her between her
dau., Mary A. and husband, in Pearson cemetery, but no tombstone was ever
erected there, despite some claims to the contrary. No evidence of any
tombstone in this location for her.
