JOHN T. HARMON, sheriff, Henderson Co. would sell
320 acres in Surveyors District 9, Range 9, Section 71 belonging to STOCKLEY D.
HAYS, Aug. 7, 1824; for debt.
JOHN T. HARMON, sheriff, Henderson Co., would sell 273 acres in Surveyors District 9, Range 5, Section 9; 360 acres, S. D. 9, Rs. 3-4, Sec. 8; 20¼ acres, S. D. 9, R. 5, Sec. 9; 500 acres, S. D. 9, R. 3, Sec. 8, belonging to RICHARD A. McREE; for debt.

The LEXINGTON COMMISSIONERS would sell the
remainder of the unsold Lexington town lots, September 20, 1824; signed by
JAMES BAKER, secretary of the commission.

JOHN PURDY announced that on December 9, 1824
he would remove the land office of the Surveyors District 9 from Lexington to
"my own house" in Henderson County in S. D. 9, R. 3, Sec. 8, about 3 miles
south of the main road leading from Lexington to Jackson.
December 31, 1825
JOHN A. NEILL, deputy sheriff, Henderson Co.,
would sell lots 57, 58, 89, 90 in Lexington soon, those belonging to WILLIAM B.
BARTEE; for debt.

HUDSON's estate, Henderson Co., called for payment of all debts due estate and
claims filed with him against the estate.

ROBERT MARSHALL, sheriff of Henderson Co. would
sell 30 acres in S. D. 9, R. 5, Sec. 7, belonging to JACOB HORDER the second
Monday in Nov. 1830; for debt.
ROBERT MARSHALL, sheriff of Henderson Co. would sell lot of 2 acres in Lexington belonging to WILLIAM PATTON, second Monday in Oct. 1831; for debt.

1831. SAMUEL VALIER versus BENJAMIN F. WEST, attachment in assumpsit;
West being a non-resident of Tenn. had six months to pay a debt.

ROBERT MARSHALL, sheriff of Henderson Co. would
sell the house and lot in Lexington, belonging to JOHN A. GREER, occupied by
McCLAUDY and EWING Co., May 14, 1832; for debt.

ROBERT MARSHALL, sheriff of Henderson Co. would
sell 200 acres, part of 726 acres granted to SAMUEL WILSON, being the interest
of JOHN A. WILSON, June 9, 1832; for debt.

would sell a lot belonging to the heirs of JOHN McCLURE and a lot belonging to

would sell all interest WILLIAM PATTON had in the brick building "designed for
a Masonic Hall and House of Worship" in Lexington and the house and lot whereon
SAMUEL M. CARSON lived; also 40 acres in S. D. 9, R. 5, Sec. 9, all in the name
of WILLIAM PATTON; for debt.

R. B. JONES, sheriff, Henderson Co. would sell by
direction of Henderson Co. Circuit Court, 86 acres in civil district ten,
belonging to SOLOMON WEST, June 30, 1838; for debt.
R. B. JONES, sheriff, Henderson Co. would sell 100 acres in civil district ten, belonging to SAMUEL WILSON and JOHN T. HARMON, June 30, 1838; for debt.

BRAY, administrator of MATTHEW BRAY's estate filed notice that the estate was
insolvent; those persons with claims against the estate had until November 6,
1850 to file same with him.
WADE H. SHELBY, administrator of DAVID BERGAR, Henderson Co., filed notice that the estate was believed insolvent; those persons with claims against the estate had until December 6, 1849 to file same with him.

CAWTHON, ELIZABETH A. BALIEW, JOSEPH E. THREADGILL, O. H. COOPER and wife; E.
P. ALLEN, ANN ALLEN, WILLIAM T. ALLEN, defendants. NASH lived in Madison Co.,
Miss.; EDMUND W. CAWTHON lived in Montgomery CO., Texas; ELIZABETH BALIEW lived
in Marshall Co., Miss.; this was notice that the case would be heard in court
the second Monday in June 1850.

W. HENRY, complainant versus EUNICE STEWART, GEORGE AUSBOURN and wife, MARTHA
of Georgia; EUNICE HARRIS, WILLIAM HARRIS, WALTON HARRIS, GEORGE H. BUCK, JOHN
L. READ, administrator of JOHN WHITE's estate; SARAH AYCOCK and others,
defendants; several of these people lived in Mississippi; this was notice that
the case would be heard in court the second Monday in June 1851.
March 13, 1857
FRANCIS HOSKINS, COLSON HOSKINS, JAMES F.
HEISKELL, THOMAS YOUNG, STEPHEN T. MITCHELL, complainants versus FELIX W.
HENRY, REUBEN T. VAWTER, LAFAYETTE McHANEY, JOSEPH GARDNER and other
defendants. This in Chancery Court; by decree, Feb. 1857, clerk and master was
instructed to sell lots 8, 27 on the south side of the public square in
Lexington, having been heretofore conveyed by HENRY and VAWTER in trust; sale
would be held April 13, 1857.
RICHARD B. JONES, complainant versus JOHN R. ELLYSON, THOMAS C. B. JONES, J. W. G. JONES, C. M. HARMAN, H. McCLAMROCK, defendants; by decree of Chancery Court, Feb. 1857, the clerk and master was to sell lot 3 in Lexington on which a storehouse, warehouse and counting room were located; 3 other lots whereon CRAFFORD TAYLOR lived; another town lot, having been conveyed by ELLYSON and JONES in trust; sale would be held April 14, 1857.

WILLIAM ABELDOUGLASS, administrator of WILLIAM ALEXANDER DOUGLASS' estate,
complainant versus MOSES DUNCAN, JANE DUNCAN, JOHN P. DUNCAN, LOUISA DUNCAN,
COLUMBUS G. DUNCAN, WILLIAM T. DUNCAN, AMERICA ANN DUNCAN, MARGRET JANE DUNCAN,
JAMES S. TURNER, defendants. Original injunction. Al1 these persons except
Turner were residents of Arkansas-this was notice that the case would be heard
in court second Monday in February 1858.
FRANCIS M. DARDEN, EASTER KNOWLES, complainants versus GEORGE DARDEN, MARTHA PARROT and others, defendants. By decree, land in civil district 6 on the Bolivar Road was to be sold Feb. 13, 1858; 414 acres except the dower of TERMISHA, widow of MILLS DARDEN and 23 acres sold by MILLS DARDEN before his demise; also notice of sale of 4 slaves in the estate.
December term, Chancery court, Henderson Co. DAVID T. SPAIN, JOHN M. MEALS, complainants versus HARBERT W. WILLIAMS, JESSE GRAY, JOHN AUTRY, defendants. Injunction and attachment bill. WILLIAMS was a non-resident of Tenn.; this was notice that the case would be heard second Monday in February 1858.
A notice that on February 1, 1858 the slave, LUCY, aged about 21 years, would be sold by JOHN A. MOFFITT, deputy sheriff, Henderson Co., to pay debt of CREED D. McHANY.
WILLIAM B. HALL and W. C. McHANY, trustees, announced that they were to sell entire estate, real and personal, of C. D. McHANEY of Mifflin, Tenn. to pay his debts; those persons with claims on the estate should file same with them by April 1, 1858.

ALEXANDER DURAN, JOHN L. DAVY, GEORGE W. SHANNON, complainants versus HUGH
TARBOT, WILLIAM GARVIN, SAMUEL GETTY, JAMES GARVIN, J. B. WILDER and Co. and
others, defendants. Injunction Bill. Most of these persons were non-residents
of Tenn.; this was notice that the case would be heard in court the second
Monday in August 1858.

H_____ and Wife, MALINDA, BENJAMIN THOMPSON, the last four being non-residents
of Tenn.; this was notice that the case would be heard in court the first
Monday in February 1860. Chancery Court.

WILLIAM J. MOSS' estate; DANIEL M. WADLEY and wife, MINERVA; JOHN L. GARRETT
and wife, SUSAN; WILLIAM SKINNER and wife, ELIZABETH; JOHN G. WATSON and wife,
MARY; ELIZABETH MOSS. Petition to remove administrator. The Wadleys, Garretts
were residents of Arkansas and there whereabouts of THOMAS MOSS was unknown;
notice that the case would be heard in court the first Monday in July 1860.

were residents of Miss.; this was notice that the case would be heard in court
the second Monday in February 1860.
October term, Chancery Court, Henderson Co. ROBERT DENNISON, JOHN McCALL and others versus E. W. WALKER, CELIA DENNISON; defendants SANFORD DENNISON and DAVID DENNISON were non-residents of Tenn.; notice that the case would be heard in court the second Monday in February 1860.
August 30, 1861
JAMES T. WHITE, administrator of SUSAN MEAL's
estate filed notice of insolvency of her estate; persons had until January 1,
1862 to file claims against the estate.
WILLIAM CARROLL, administrator of JAMES G. MORRIS' estate filed notice of insolvency of his estate; persons had until January 1, 1862 to file claims against the estate.
September 22, 1866
September term, Chancery Court, Henderson Co.
GEORGE W. MAYFIELD, complainant versus KINDRICK PARHAM, THOMAS B. PETERSON,
JAMES PETERSON, defendants. Injunction and attachment bill. KINDRICK PARHAM was
a resident of Ky.; this was a notice that this case would be heard in court
second Monday in February 1867.
Circuit Court, Henderson Co. Heirs of JOHN PARKER, Sr., Petition to sell land. JAMES C. PARKER, PRIESTLEY E. PARKER, SIDNEY PARKER, E. D. CARROLL and wife, LOUISA; SHERROD M. PARKER versus HIRAM BRITT, ELISHA A. BRITT, LEONIDAS H. BRITT, EMMA E. BRITT, FRANCES E. COZART, RAYBURN BRITT, JOHN W. PARKER, JR., MARY E. PARKER, GEO. M. PARKER, MARY ANN BRITT, MARY JANE TILSON, OLIVIA H. TILSON, JOSEPH P. BALLEW; SAMUEL G. PARKER, KITTY LEATHERS, L. M. complainant versus JOHN WEST. Original attachment. WEST had left the county and
was indebted to HEFLEY; the latter sued for sale of any property of WEST to pay
debts; case would be heard for disposition fourth Monday in November 1866.
October term, Chancery Court, Henderson Co. JAMES S. FLAKE, WILLIAM FLAKE, FRANCES FLAKE, JAMES FLAKE and others, heirs of ELIJAH FLAKE, dec'd., complainants versus JEMIMA HOUSE and husband, JAMES HOUSE of Miss.; the heirs of MARY A. LYLES of Miss.; notice that this case would be heard in court the second Monday in February 1867.
