TAYLOR, TRUSTEE, FOR $1.00, & OTHER CONSIDERATIONS, A PIECE OF PROPERTY IN CROCKETT COUNTY IN THE TOWN OF ALAMO “…ALL OF OUR INTEREST CONSISTING OF 1/2 INTEREST BEGINNING AT THE WEST SIDE OF MAIN STREET…”, IT BEING THE SAME PROPERTY PURCHASED BY J.R. MIDGETT FROM D.W. CATES & HIS WIFE DORA ON MARCH 25, 1925 AND NOW OCCUPIED AS THE POST OFFICE. THIS CONVEYANCE IS MADE IN TRUST BECAUSE J.R. MIDGETT IS INDEBTED TO BELLS BANKING CO. IN THE SUM OF $728.00 OF WHICH NOTE IS DUE NOVEMBER 15, 1931. IF NOTE IS NOT PAID THEN THE TRUSTEE IS TO SELL THE LAND AT PUBLIC AUCTION. IF PAID THEN THIS CONVENANCE TO BE NULL & VOID. THIS DEED OF TRUST WAS MADE JUNE 17, 1931.
