To the worshipful county Court we the undersigned a commitly appointed at your January Term to lay off and set aside a years support for the minor Heirs of A. G. BRASFIELD we on Wednesday? the 14th day of Jany 1891 [there are no entries dated 14 Jan 1891] proseeded and did lay off and set apart the following property to witt. One sorrell mare blased? faced colt dolley one Grey mare one two horse waggon two pairs of plow geer two turning plows one chore? plow one cotton scraper two single trees 2 cotton Hoes two milch cows one red and one porty one sow and 7 pigs seven Head of sheep and 3 lambs, and what geese and chickens there is on hand and all the kitchen furnature there is on hand 2 beds & bed clothes one double barreled shot gun one clock one bible and what school Books on hand and what port there is on hand about 4 or 5 hundred pounds and about 10 gal of lard and what hay that there is on hand and about 25 gallons of molasses and finding no corn nor wheat nor sugar and coffee on hand we set a side one sucking colt to be sold and the proceeds applied for the same.

FERDINAND P. HALL this day produced in open Court a transcript from the Gibson County Court duly Certified to by M. C. HOLMES Clk By A. S. CURRY Deputy Clerk at office in Trenton Tennessee on the 9th day of August 1872 showing that FERDINAND P. HALL was appointed Guardian of MARTHA A. E. BOWLS on the 6th day of July 1868 and the first Monday in the Month by the Quarterly term of the Gibson County Court with T. F. CONLEY and JAMES A. COX as his securities on Guardian Bond and which was acknowledged received and approved by the Court. The transcript further shows F. P. HALL to be indebted to said MARTHA A. E. BOWLS $423.07 per settlement made with M. C. HOLMES Clerk of Gibson County Court on the 15 day of May 1871 said transcript is now filed Marked and sealed with the Clerk of this Court.

Be it remembered that on this the 1st day of February 1892 it being the regular County Court of Crockett County Tenn. MRS. R. A. BOON presented her petition in open court praying for homestead and dower out of the lands that R. K. BOON died seized and possessed. And it appearing that SID AVERY the administrator and all the Heirs of R. K. BOON decd has had legal and proper notice of this application and it further appearing that R. K. BOON died in this county in the year 1891* leaving the petitioner as his widow and that he died seized and possessed of the following land. One tract in District 9 bounded by… D. V. AVERY, LYONS and other, FARROW and others, S. AVERY and MRS. BOON containing 100 acres also one tract lying in the 13th civil district consisting of about 60 or 64 acres…
