To the Chairman of the worshipful County Court of Crockett your petitioners MARY L. MOORE & FRANK S. MOORE being respectfully of the ages of fifteen & twelve and learning from their uncle DR. J. S. MOORE of Friendship their present Guardian that in consequence of declining health and a contemplated indefinit absence from the State he wishes to resign said guardianship of your petitioners into the hands of an other your petitioners would therefore —-? as their future guardian W. W. BIGGS of Crockett County and respectfully request his appointment as such by your worshipful Body

On petition and by the order of the Court W. W. BIGGS was this day appointed Guardian of MARY L. MOORE & FRANK S. MOORE whereupon W. W. BIGGS came into Court and entered into Bond in the sum of Six thousand dollars with J. F. SINCLAIR and J. F. ROBERTSON as his securities who severally acknowledged said bond in open Court which was approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded and the W. W. BIGGS was duly qualified as Guardian

On motion ISAAC A. NUNN was this day appointed Administrator of J. T. MOORE Estate deceased. Whereupon the said ISAAC A. NUNN came into Court and entered into Bond in the sum of Four thousand dollars with J. H. FARMER, J. S. SPENCE and H. S. WYSE as his securities who severally acknowledged said Bond in open Court which was approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded and the said I. A. NUNN was duly Qualified as the Law directs and It was ordered that Letters of Administration Issue to the said I. A. NUNN

Ordered by the Court that T. F. CONYERS, JOHN YOUNG and S. L. PERRY be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to Lay off out of the Estate of J. T. MOORE deceased one year support to the Widow of said deceased and the Minor Children and said allowance must be Exclusive of what the Law allows.

David S. MOODY, Guardian of Martha J. MOODY, T. E. MOODY, David H. MOODY, W. L. MOODY, M. E. MOODY & D. MOODY, this day came into Court and proved his bond as guardian of the aforesaid children, with T. E. NOEL and P. M. NEAL as his securities, who severally acknowledged said Bond in Open Court and NOEL & NEAL stated on oath they were worth the amount of the said Bond, Six Thousand Dollars, not liable to execution after all liabilities were liquidated.

ELLOR McQUIRTER
Apprenticed to
C. A. BOSWELL

On motion ELLOR McQUIRTER a Colored Minor was this day apprenticed to C. A. BOSWELL thereupon the said C. A. BOSWELL came into Court and entered into Bond in the sum of one thousand dollars to well and truly comply with his contract this day made with the County Court with S. H. AVERRY and T. A. NICHOLS as his securities which Bond was severally acknowledged in open Court approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.

The condition of the obligation is this that whereas ELLOR McQUIRTER a Colored Minor being unable to support herself and the Mother of said minor being unable to support the said ELLOR the County Court bound the said ELLOR to C. A. BOSWELL who is to furnish ELLOR with good diet and clothing and good comfortable Quarters and to see she is well attended to either in sickness or health and not abuse or mistreat the said ELLOR in any manner whatever and that ELLOR is to be well cared for under all circumstances and cause her to be taught or teach her to read and write well and cypher to the single rule of three and at the Expiration of the apprenticeship to give ELLOR Fifty dollars and one good suit of Sundy Clothing said said ELLOR is now about six years old.

We the undersigned freeholders of Crockett County after being duly sworn have proceeded to set apart to MRS. McMILLEN widow of ARCHEY McMILLEN deceased so much of the Crop and provisions on hand as will be sufficient in our opinion to support her and her family one year from the death of her said Husband. We set apart to her for said purpose the following articles to wit 1200 lb meat and the Lard that was out of the meat aforesaid 6 Bbl corn 600 lb flour 15 gal Molasses 50 lb sugar 0 lb salt. Jan 14 1873
