The Commissioners appointed at the last term of this Court to assign to the Plaintiff her dower and homestead in the estate of L.M.PERMENTER, deceased, returned the following report, to wit:


To the Worshipful County Court of Crockett County; We, your Commissioners appointed at the March term of said Court to lay-off and set apart to Mrs. C.A. PERMENTER, the widow of L. H. PERMENTER, dec’d, her dower, interest and Homestead in the lands owned by him at the time of his death, Ask to make the following as our report. That we met on the premises and after examination and investigation of the facts with Mrs. PERMENTER, we proceeded to lay-off and set apart to her the said C. A. PERMENTER, her dower or disbutees share of one third in value of said land. Taken from the west end of the tract batted and bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning at a stake and pointers the southwest corner of the tracts, runs thence east 49 1/2 poles to a stake in the south boundary line. Thence north 71 poles to a stake in the north boundary line. Thence west 49 1/2 poles to a stake and pointers, the northwest corner of the tract–Thence south 71 poles to the beginning. Containing by estimation twenty-two acres. And that we proceeded to lay off and set apart to her, the said C.A. PERMENTER, a homestead interest to the value of One Thousand Dollars out of the lands owned by the said L. H. PERMENTER, deceased. Taken from the east end of the tract, Butted and bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at a stake in the south boundary line, The southeast corner of the Dower tract, runs east one hundred and twenty poles to a stake and pointers the southeast corner of the tract (page 396) Thence north seventy one poles to a stake and pointers the northeast corner of the tracts thence west 120 poles to a stake in the north boundary line, the northeast corner of the dower tracts, Thence north 71 poles to the beginning, Containing by estimation 53 acres.

Which report then being no objection, is in all things confirmed. And it is further ordered that the plaintiff pay all costs in their proceeding for which let execution issue.
