THE UNDERSIGNED COMMISSIONERS DO ALLOT TO LUCY A. MIDYETT HER DOWER OUT OF THE REAL ESTATE OF THER DECEASED HUSBAND, P.C. MIDYETT. THE LAND LYING IN HAYWOOD COUNTY AND BOUNDED AT THE N.W. CORNER OF THE TRACT PURCHASED BY THE DEC’D. OF H.A. PARTEE RUNNING TNECE SOUTH 75 POLES TO A STAKE, THENCE EAST 199 POLES TO A STAKE; THENCE 75 POLES TO THE N.E. CORNER OF THE AFORESAID TRACT, THENCE WEST 199 POLES TO THE BEGINNING, CONTAINING 93 ACRES INCLUDING THE FAMILY MANSION AND OUT BUILDING WHICH WE CONSIDER 1/3 IN THE VALUE OF THE REAL ESTATE OF THE SAID P.C. MIDYETT, DEC’D. GIVEN UNDER OUR HANDS AND SEALS THIS THE 20 DAY SEPTEMBER 1865.
