• I'm Looking for Mary A, Welchance (or close spelling) She was traveling in Tennessee during 1850-1855 from Washington County with the William Knick family and may have passed through Cocke County. • I am looking for any info about a Nancy PRUITT born abt 1858 in Cocke, Tenn. Her parents names were William PRUITT and Melvina (Vinnie) Strange. Nancy md a William Penn HOLLAND on 17 Oct 1875 in Saline, Missouri. Children were J.H., b 1876, Luda Jane b 1878, Cordeley, b 1879, Vinnie Ann b 1881 and Marion Lee, b 1883. • need info on Lilly Sentell (b.CA 1845 NC), mother of several children by Joe ROLLINS. Need info on Joe. I know where he, wife Lue, Lilly and another 'wife', Elizabeth Campbell are buried, but no dates. My grandmother, Nora Sentell JOHNSON, was d/o Lilly and Joe. They had many children: Ellen (WISE),Cora (FOX), Hunley Connie, Clifford, Sarah (NOLAN?), Bernice (BUTTNER? also MOORE), Unice (TURNER) and Meade?? (Walters?). Clifford DAWSON, married Alma BEAL. Looking for information re: Elizabeth MILLER and John DAWSON from Cocke County. They had several children:Ellen (married Henry WISE), Cora (Married a FOX), Hunley DAWSON, Clifford DAWSON (married Alma BEAL), Sarah (Married NOLAN), Bernice (married x2--BUTTNER, MOORE), and Meade (married WALTERS). all the children were born in the 1880-1890's. I believe they all lived in Bybee. I have a good handle on my roots that direction. If you can direct me i sure would appreciate the assist. i sure am lost. Thank you.

• My greatgrandmother was 1/2 Cherokkee. Her name was ALLIE ELLENDOR PRATT. She married my G.G.F., ROBERT DANIEL LOWRANCE in 1957. She was borm 1-1-1855 and died in 1934. She lived in Rutherford TN at the time of her marriage. Her death certificate does not name her mother and only shows "PRATT" for father. Need any information.

They are listed as the heirs of Henry Moyer in an 1803 power of attorney document. Henry MOYER was the father of Catherine MEYER, who died before 1781 when her husband John PARROT(T) married Lucy (Louisa) BEAN. John and Lucy went to Tennessee c. 1785.
