Jackie Peters and Dawn (Trivette) Peters were married 60 years before Dawn’s untimely passing in January, 2023.  For most of those 60 years, they worked tirelessly to collect, preserve, and disseminate family and local history of their native Carter County.

Jackie and Dawn became Coordinators for Carter County’s site when the TNGenWeb Project formed in June, 1996, and served in that capacity until the Spring of 2023.

Their legacy will live on in the pages of this site and beyond.
