George Washington Woods, 53, died at his late home on East 37th Street Sunday morning at 6:30 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, 5 daughters & 4 sons, also one brother & two sisters. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 from the home of Rev. Elmer Bettis of Ooltewah, officiating burial following at Hayes Shed. (Michigan Ave. Church)
