Will of Mary S. Airheart Griffith (1892)

I, Mary S. Griffith of the County of Bradley and State of Tennessee being in feeble health but of a sound [(inserted) and disposing] mind, In the name of God, Amen, I do make and publish this as my last wil and testament,
First I will and desire that all my just debts be paid
Second I will and desire that my funeral expenses be paid,
Third I will and devise [blotted] and bequeath unto Myra [?] L. Airhart all of the remainder of my personal property consisting of household and kitchen furniture, live- stock, money [illegible] that I may be seized and possessed of mixed or unmixed.
This the 25th day of July 1892 witness my hand and seal [signed] Mary S. Griffith [seal]

We witnessed the above named will and testament in the presence of Mary S. Griffith the testatrix This 25 day of July 1892 Probate It appearing to the Court now in session that Mary S. Griffith late a citizen of Bradley County has died leaving a will and therefore cause Myra L. Airheart into open court and presented a paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of the said Mary S. Griffith deceased and therefore appeared in open court James M. Trewhill [Trewhitt?] and M.E. Taylor, subscribing witnesses to said paper writing, who upon their oath say that they were present when the said Mary S. Griffith made published and declared said paper writing to be her last will and testament and that said testatrix signed said paper writing in their presence and that they as the [inserted (request)] testatrix and in her presence and in the presence of each other subscribed their names as attesting witnesses It is therefore ordered by the court that said paper writing, as it purports to be, is duly admitted to probate as the last will and testament of said Mary Griffith, deceased, And it is further ordered by the court that said will be spread of record upon the Will Book of this Court together with this probate.
