Saturday before the 1 Sabath in January the church met and after worship proceeded to business of the [sic] the church opened the doore of the church for the reception of members none came forward
2 Report was maid that from publick reporte Brother Pruitt was charged with drinking to get drunk the church apointed Brother J. Standfield to go & talk with him & tell him to come to the church & tell the church about the reportes

Saturday before the first Sabath in Febbruary the church met & after Worship proceeded to open the doors of the church Sister Amandar Moore & May Moore Joined by letter

Then took up the case of Brother Pruitt which was a referance from last meeting and he answer in the afirmitive that he was not gilty and Brother John Stanfield Stated that Brother Mc. C. Atchley told him that the charge against Brother Pruitt was true the church then agreed to lay over this case untill next meeting an apointed Brother John Standfield to go & request Brother Mc. C. Atchley to attend the next meeting & Brother John Murphy and tell the church about the reporte
then Brother James Hunter & wife called for letters of dismission as they was going to move away the Clerk was ordered to write them letters then come to a dismission

Church met on Sabbath accordin to apointment the records read & Recd then Brother Simpson offred his credentials to the church & the church recd them, then Sister Simpson call[ed] for a letter of dismission the church say they will not give it and lade it over untill next meeting J.E. [P-21] The Saturday before the 1 Sabath in March was not attended by the church on Sabath the church went and put off the baptism of Brother T. Brandon by request and all refrenceance stands for the April Meeting received a line for the church from Brother N. McNabb of McMinn Saturday before the 1 Sabth in April first oponed the doores of the church two Joined by letter 2nd B. Moore and Anna Moore then took up the case of Brother Pruitt & ecluded him for drinking Then took up the case of 3 Sister Simpsons letter & She drawed the request &c 4 Where as the Church received Thomas Brandon by experience the Church now refuse him baptisom in Consequince of defeclty’s between him and member of the Corrinth Church Saturday before the first Sabath in May the Church met and after Worship the doors of the church were opened none came forward 2 Brother Simpson requests the Church that they would reconsider the acts of the Church meeting of November past meeting as regarding his case
[P-22] The church agree to reconsider his case and here the testimony of all present and to wate untill the next meeting if nessary the church say that it is nessary to wate untill the next meeting for the testimony of Brother Blare and apointed Brother J.M. Miller & Brother John McDowell to go and request him to come and tell the church what Brother Simpson told him regarding this Georgia trip 3rd Brother Wm. Hunter states to the church the cause of his suing Brother R. Simpson the Church say that they do not Justify such a corse and relitive to this same case brother Simpson has don rong by talking harde of the church about retaining him in the Church and not coming and telling the church So the Church say that they will retain Both in the Church and as they have got to say they tow may deside their course J.M. [P-23] Saturday before the first sabath in June the church meet and after worship proceeded to business first opened the doors of the church non came forward next called for refferance if any and on record there was stated a case against Brother R. Simpson that was lade over for testimony of Brother Blare who ware not present in Person but wrote to the church and the church having the letter read and examinan other Members relivitive to the case Brother R. Simpson teles the church that he did not design to hert his Brothers feelings and if he had done so he would acknowledged that he was Sorry for It the church then proceded to appoint a committee to determine on the matter Said committee consisted of Brethren John McDowel, Seth Atchley, John Stanfield, Daniel McDowel and Davis Pridy who after consulting with each other gave the following decision for the Committee Believe that Brother Simpson is guilty in part of the charges that were perfered against him by the church But feal It to be our duty as a church to forgive him upon the Acknowledgement that he Brother Simpson made to the church further Believe It to be our duty to restore brother Simpsons Ministerals gift to him as Such he has the same liberty to Exercise his Ministeral functions that he had Previous to those charges being preferred against him Signed day and date above written

Saturday before the first Sabath in July the church met all in peace and agreed to have a protracted meeting to commence the Friday before the fifth Sabath in July and it Sefises the regler meeting

1st dismissed Polley Johnson by Letter
2nd motion by Bro Standfiel that the church appoint delegates to the association which motion prevailed and the following were appointed to wit Elders R. Simpson and J.M. Miller as the church appeared to be in peace and harmony she then dismissed in order

Saturday before the first Sabath in September the Church meet all in peace firs opned the doors of the church & R. Pruitt come forward and by acknowledgements the Church agree to restore him so now he is restored to felowship next Brother R. Pruitt requested the Church to give him & wife letters of dismission then say that Daniel McDowel be apointed a Delegate to the association in place of Brother Simpson an in case of failier then we apointed Brother John Stanfield to go and bare our letter and the Church apoint the Clerk to give Brother Pruitt & wife letters of dismission shen called for

1st opened the dores of the church for the reception of members none Joined
2nd Called for references and there being a reference from the the grov meeting respecting the case of Brother R. Simpson and Sister Simpson withdrawing from this Church and attaching themselves to the Presberterians and Brother S. Atchley having been apointed by the church to cite Brother Simpson & wife to attend at this meeting reports that he wen to the house of the Simpsons and the he Simpson was from home and his wife was sick and could not attend It was then motioned and second that the church Exclude them which was accordingly done

2st Called for refferencises when the – refference calling for brother McCampbell Atchley to Supply the church as there pasteore for the present years was taken up and Brother Atchley being present accepts the call the church agreeing to remunnerate him for his time
3st the church clerk being absent the church appoints J.M. Miller Clerk protem to act for the present meeting
4th was then dismissed in order Signed by the order of the church day and date above ritten

The 1th Saturday in May 1849 the church met and after worship proceeded to business 1th a doore was opened for the reception of members recivd one by letter Bersheba Johnson refference changing the terme from the first to the Second comminion Season to commence the Friday before the 2th in august then dismissed in order
Meigs County July the 2 Saturday 1849 the church met and after Preaching proceded to business
1th A dore was opened for the recption of members and recivd none

3th The church takes into consideration the propriety as Cl Church of opening A correspondance with the generral association and laid over until next meeting in course and then dismissed in order

Saturday before the 2 Sabbath in August the church met all in peace call for the business of the church there were a referance from the last church meeting whether this church would hold correspondance with the general association or not the church say they will become a member appointed brothering as delegates to the general association Seth Atchley & J.M. Miller, Brother D. Priddy dismissed by letter appointed J.M. Miller & J. Standfield to bare the letter to the next associaiton and that the clerk have the letter wrote against the next church meeting
