WEBB, Dan (1893)
Accidentally Killed Himself
At ten o’clock Tuesday morning Dan WEBB accidentally shot and killed himself, near his home in Tuckaleechee cove, twelve miles from Maryville. He was in a tree shooting fish in the river when his gun caught on a limb and turned so he was shot just over the left eye, his brains being blown out several feet from his body. Dan was the son of Mary WEBB, a well known citizen of Blount county. He was twenty-seven years old and leaves a wife and child.
