TIPTON, Mr. T.C. – Gives a Reception (1891)
One of the pleasant events of the season was the reception given at the Jackson House, by Mr. T.C. TIPTON, district manager of the Washington Life Ins. Co., of New York, assisted by Messrs. Linton TEDFORD and Roe FULKERSON. The evening was passed in playing games and at 9 o’clock refreshments were served. Mr. TIPTON is a jolly fellow. He did all in his power to make the evening a pleasant one. And that he succeeded will be testified to by all who were present.
