Deed: John R. TALLENT to Michael HARVEY (1876)

Webb (monroewebb@gmail.com) Blount County Tennessee Register of Deeds; Microfilm # 0888888; Vol. FF; Dec. 1874 - July 1877; Pages 375, 376, 377 Know all men by these presents that we Michael Harvey his wife Sarah Harvey and James Harvey for and in consideration of the sum of fifty Hundred Dollars Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars of which has this day been paid to us by John R. Tallent the reciept of which is hereby acknowledged and a mot_ of ____ executed by the said John R. Tallent to the said Michael Harvey in order for the sum of seven hundred and fifty Dollars of even Dato (duto??) herewith payable five years after dato and bearing two percent interest from dato and which mote??? it is agreed shall be and secure a ____ upon the bonds herein after described have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do transfer and convey unto John R. Tallent the (Page 376) following described bonds with all and singular the ____ and _____ thereunto belonging to me two hundred and twelve and 1\2 acres more or less situated in the 10th civil District of Blount County Tennessee bounded on the north by the lands of the Saffris heirs on the East by the Halston River on the west by the lands of the Ben. Bonham heirs and on the South by the lands of Saul Saffris heirs being the same on which the said Michael Harvey now resides Also on the tract containing thirty acres more or less Situate in said 10th District of Blount County bounded on the North by the above described two hundred and twelve acre tract on the south by the lands of H. C. Saffris and on the west by the widow _____ _______ Bonham tract to have and to hold each of the said tracts of land to himself his heirs and assigns in ________ ________ forever and we commant with the said John R. Tallent his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized _____ ________ of the said two hundred and twelve acre tract that the same is unincumbered and we bind ourselves our heirs and legal representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the same to the said John R. Tallent his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever but it expressly understood that we do not warrant the title to the above described thirty acre tract ______ that we release quit claim and convey unto the said John R. Tallent his heirs and assigns all our right title claim and interest in and to the same both legal and equitable to testimony of all which are hereunto set our hands and Seals this 1 day of November A.
