Rowan Family Profiles
Many thanks to Edward Rowan for submitting these family files he created for his Rowan Family. Two individials were included in the Original 1807 Land Grants (George Berry, a Revolutionary Patriot, got 351 acres and Samuel Rowan got 150 acres).

Perhaps an item I just found is about one of your relatives. See what you think: S. P. Rowan served on the bar for the courts of Blount County, TN . I’m sorry. I did not get the year. Let me look again, though. Okay, it is 1838. He was Samuel P. Rowan whose two grandfathers were George Berry and Samuel Rowan.
