Obituary of Eldridge L. Seiber, 2001:
Eldridge L. Seiber, age 77, of Briceville passed away Sunday, March 18, 2001 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mr. Seiber was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Seiber was a World War II veteran.
Preceded in death by: wife, Helen Wilson Seiber; parents, Byrd and Betsy Jane Lively; brothers, Luke and Albert Seiber; sister, Lula Wagner.
Survivors: daughters, Katy Coon and husband Archie of New Commertown, OH, Shirley Boles and husband Richard of NC; sons, Roy Seiber and wife Ruth of Briceville, Billy Seiber and wife Peggy of Cleveland, TN, Bobby Seiber and wife Patricia of Cleveland, OH, Vaughn Seiber and wife Bonnie of Cleveland, OH; brothers, William Seiber of Clinton, Joe Seiber and wife Martha of Briceville; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family received friends 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral service was 2 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Edd Seiber officiating.
Interment was Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
