Obituary of Charlie F. Webber, 1970:
C. F. Webber, war veteran, is buried here. World War I veteran, Charlie F. Webber, 82, of 110 West Park Ave., Clinton, died Saturday morning in a Knoxville hospital. He had been retired many years from farming and was a member of the First Baptist Church
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Hayward Highfill officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.
He leaves three brothers, Ulys and Kelley of Clinton, Rufe of Danville, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Belle Ellis of Clinton.
