Obituary of Ella Mae Ellis Mitchell
Resident of Laurel Rd. dies at home
Mrs. Ella Mae Ellis Mitchell, 65, of Laurel Rd., Clinton Rt. 3, died at around 3 a.m. Monday at her home after a long illness.
She was a native of the Clinton area and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Mitchell; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Grace Carter of Clinton Rt. 3 and Mrs. Anna Belle Patterson of Rome, Ga.; a son, Jack Mitchell of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Spoon of Oliver Springs, Mrs. Pearlie Noah of Florence, Ala. And Mrs. Irene Stanfill of California; two brothers, Roy Ellis of Danville, Ill. and Carl Ellis of Memphis; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Pleasant View Baptist Church with the Rev. Franklin Massengill officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
