Obituary of Gladys Iker, 1995:
Gladys Elizabeth Iker, 86, of Clinton, died Thursday in Oak Ridge Health Care Center.
The daughter of Levi and Victoria Berth Weaver, she was born April 12, 1909, in Clinton. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George E. Iker.
Survivors include son, Samuel Hamilton of Knoxville; grandchildren, Samuel Hamilton Jr., Elizabeth Ann Timberlake and Vickie Taylor; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfonza Weaver and Hun Weaver, both of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 4 pm Sunday in Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Gethrie and the Rev. Jack Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden, Clinton.
Family will receive friends 3-4 pm Sunday.
