George Michie Survey State of Tennessee Secord District
By Virtue of an entry 784 dated the 3d day of September 1808 founded on a Military Warrant No.4489 for 274 acres issued by the State of North Carolina to George Howard I have surveyed for George Michie assee originally of George Howard two hundred acres of land part of the above Warrant Situate lying and being in the 2d District Warren County and on both sides of Barren fork of Collins River Beginning on a hickory 10 poles North of the North West corner of entry numbered 782 in the name of the heirs of Moses Davis running thence West fifty chains to a black Oak and Hickory near the county thence south forty chains to a black Oak (crossed the river at 31 chains) on the ridge on the south side of the river thence East fifty chains to a black Oak in the line of said Davis thence with it and passing the corner to the beginning Septr 19th 1808
