- I am researching ancestors/descendents of Jessie Walker
Flatt (1844-1897) and Virginia McClellan(McClearan?). Virginia
(Jenny) was from Roaring River, Jackson County, and had a
sister named Lucy Moore? Jessie and Virginia had a boy and
girl: Argile Winfield; and Lizzie, who married Sam Jackson.
I'll be glad to share family data if you have a connection with

- My ggfather died in Algood, Tenn in 1905. A stone

- Seeking to see if Francis Marion GALLOWAY or Pellentine
STEPP, are listed in any of the census from 1880 to 1900.
Francis' father died and his mother left, leaving him to care
for his self. Francis was my great grand father. My gran father
told me that he lived with various families in the Wilder
Community while working at a coal mine in the area. I cannot
seem to find out for sure what county the Wilder community was
in.

- Looking for any decendents of John and Cansada FORD. Oldest
son, Will, married Margia Ann DYER, both buried in Baxter.
Another son, Birdie Monroe (my grandfather), married Nancy Bell
RITTENBERRY. They eventually moved to Nashville. The 1900
Putnam Census also listed the following children for John
Buckhannan and Cansadid FORD-Bosdia(19), Johney(18), Jack(16)(I
have his name as Andrew Jackson,living with Birdie and his wife
in 1910),Thurmann(11), Burthey(9), Odia(6), Tinnie(3),
Robert(1).The spelling of names is from the census records. If
anyone has these people in their research I'd love to hear from
you.
