Wm. C. Peak as Candidate (1872)

Col. Wm C. Peak, of Meigs county, is announced in to-day’s paper as a candidate to represent James, Rhea, Cumberland and Meigs counties, in the lower branch of the next State Legislature. We have known Colonel Peak for many years– he is a gentleman well qualified for the position he seeks, and, if elected, we feel safe in saying, will make a faithful representative.
