Obituary

Amanda Caston Parker Tyler was born May 16, 1904 to the late James and Matilda Jackson Caston in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. She professed the Christian Faith at an early age.

She moved to Memphis, TN as a young girl and attended Florida Street School.

She was united in matrimony to the late John Ellis Parker in 1920.

Amanda joined Warren Chapel Methodist Church in the early 1930's. She remained a faithful, dependable and active member.

She married the late Beford Tyler in 1951. She worked for Memphis Steam and Laundry and retired in 1966.

Momma Tyler completed her earthly mission on Thursday June 18, 1998.

She leaves to cherish her memory one loving son, John W. Parker of Memphis, TN, who cared for her, one daughter-in-law, Barbara Parker and two grandchildren Cynthia Parker and John W. Parker, Jr. all of Chicago, Illinois, two cousins, Willie Hill and Lea Holliway both of Memphis, Tennessee and a host of relatives and friends.

Interment immediately following services at:
Memphis Memorial Gardens

Memphis, Tennessee
