OBITUARY

Mr. GUY CROWDER, 87, departed this life early Wednesday evening, November 29, 1995 at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park.

Mr. Crowder was born on September 8,1908 in Holtsville (Hardin County) Tennessee. He was the third-born of three sons of the late Mr. Dave Crowder and Anna Holt Crowder.

He received his early education in Holtsville, Tennessee and attended Tennessee Normal School (now Tennessee State University). As a young man Mr. Crowder moved to Chicago and secured a job with the Illinois Central Railroad. In Chicago he met and married the late Frances Baker Crowder, whom he dearly loved. The Crowders resided in Chicago and Lakeside, Michigan until Guy retired from Sidley and-Austin Law Firm, after which, in 1975, they moved to St. Petersburg.

Guy was an avid bridge and whist player as well as being a sports enthusiast. The good nature and sunny disposition he possessed truly will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His survivors include a sister-in-law, Ethel Crowder, of Chicago, Illinois; cousins Dovie Brown, Geraldine Watson and Mayethel White, all of Cleveland heights, Ohio; godson Vincent Webster of San Francisco, Ca., his mother, Aleater S. Webster, of Chicago, Illinois and a host of relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.
