The following photos were submitted by Brandi Hargrove. They were from the personal library of her great-grandfather, Frank Gracey Jarrell, worked for the Works Project Administration as a clerk in Nashville. These are from a sewing program the WPA had to teach women to both weave and sew. Brandi shares that a lot of the chenille bedspreads you see from that time were handmade by WPA groups.
