This Indenture made and entered this day between Michael Harvey of the one part and William and Marcus Jeffers of the other part both of the county of Blount and State of Tennessee Witnesseth that whereas the said Harvey did Sell and convey to James and Martin Jeffers a certain tract or parcel land heretofore and for which the Harvey maid a little bond with J. M. Singleton and G. Hart Chhaffen as _______ and whereas the said James and Martin did on the 1st of Nov 1869. Of assign the contract for said land to William and Marcus Jeffers now Michael Harvey is desirous the perfect the above named contract and to make a title the above named land and does hereby convey and sell to William and Marcus Jeffers for the consideration of three hundred dollars to me in hand paid thirty acres of land more or less adjoining the lands of Lucy Cosbey James Harvey and Michael Harvey. and bounded on the South by the road running from the Louisville and Laws ferry Road to the Benjamin Bonham place where James Ferguson now lives. now the above 30 acres of land is made up of one acres off the Blount Wright farm more or less about four acres more or less off the farm where I now reside and the remainder is the pice or parcel of land where James Tallent Sr. formerly resided. The said Michael Harvey binds himself he is lawfully Seized of said land has a good right to it and commants with the said William and Marcus Jeffers that he warrants and defends the title to the above named land against the claim of all persons claiming by or under me Michael X Harvey his mark
