I am research the Frank C. Cooper b.1871 and Mary E. Melton b.1879-1937 line. their children were Rachel Ann Cooper who married James C. Hill, Viney who married Clifford Pafford, Maggie Cooper who married Hurley Culberson and Azalea who married Otto Perry. I don't know who Frank C. Cooper's parents are and beyond. I am looking for information on Arthur Vaughn and his family. He was the son of James C Vaughn and Martha Hatley Vaughan. Martha was the daughter of Wyly and Rebecca Nichols Hatley. Please answer Mary direct with information you may have. "Family oral history states that Robert Parker was left an orphan at an early age. The first record of Robert Parker was in Benton County, TN. where he maried Elizabeth Cottingham on 12 Dec. 1847. She was probably the dau. of Levin Cottingham and Gr. dau. of John Cottingham who were in Humphreys Co. TN. before 1830. Robert and Elizabeth were living in Benton Co. TN. in 1850 with their two year old son, William. Robert is listed as 26 yr. old which would make his birth ca. 1824.

Their children were:
1) James Alexander Parker b. 1 Apr. 1852 m. Sarah Jane "Sally" Massey;
2) Mary Elizabeth Parker m. Ross Frazier; 3) Thomas Parker m. Annie ?; 4) Nathan Parker. Would like any information on the above.
