O. B. B., which was organized in 1859; member of Masonic fraternity, Knights of Pythias, Knights of Honor, and Ladies and Knights of Honor; has taken active interest in charity work; for a time he was connected with the Gerber dry goods firm, but latterly has been connected with the Pittsburg Coal Company; locating in Memphis in 1852; in point of residence he is the oldest member of the Jewish faith in the city of Memphis; in August, 1910, he celebrated his golden wedding anniversary; he is vice-president congregation &#8220;Children of Israel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><i>Source: Who\u2019s Who in Tennessee: A Biographical Reference Book of Notable Tennesseans of To-Day<\/i>.
