(Burrus) PALMER<\/strong>; paternal grand parents, <strong>William M. and Mildred (Johns) PALMER<\/strong>, maternal grandparents <strong>LaFayette and Eliza (Ready) BURNS<\/strong>; father\u2019s occupation, lawyer; educated Union University, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and University of Virginia; graduated LL.B. Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tenn., June, 1877; married <strong>Willie T. MASON<\/strong>, May 15, 1879; member Elks; was elected Mayor of Murfreesboro in 1885; member Legislature in 1889; appointed Judge of Court of Civil Appeals, February, 1907; re-elected August, 1908; practiced law from 1877 to date of appointment as Judge; President of Stone\u2019s River National Bank, and has been since January, 1901; Permanent Chairman of convention which nominated <strong>Governor PATTERSON<\/strong> in 1906; member M. E.
