G. FINLEY<\/strong><b>; <\/b>began his business career as typesetter for country newspaper, at Searcy, Ark., Jan. 4, 1870; married <strong>Emma BAILEY<\/strong><b>, <\/b>Dec. 10, 1884; Past Grand Regent Royal Arcanum of Tenn.; member K. and L. of H., National Union, W. O. W., A. O. U. W., Loyal Addition, 32d degree Mason and Business Men\u2019s Club; Democrat; former printer until May, 1877, then entered treasurer\u2019s office Old Miss. &amp; Tenn. Ry. as cashier, and continued as same three years; from 1880 to 1888 was joint ticket agent L. &amp; N. Ry., M. &amp; T. Ry., and Memphis and Little Rock Ry. at Memphis, Tenn.; in May 1888 formed partnership with A. D. Allen, under firm name Allen &amp; Finley, which firm bought the Memphis property for the Bridge Co., promoted and built the Electric line from Memphis to Raleigh, also promoted and built the car works at Binghamton, Tenn.; in 1906 was cashier Bankers Trust Co., but entered real estate business again in 1907 and is now with W. S.
